This policy explains what personal information Medstar International collects when you use this website or contact us, why we need it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple and only collect what we need to help you.

Who we are

What we collect

  • Enquiry details: your name, email address, phone number and the message you send us through our contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Health information: details about the treatment you are interested in and any medical information you choose to share, such as your medical history, photos or test results.
  • Travel details: if you go ahead with treatment, information needed to arrange it, such as travel dates and accommodation preferences.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you information about treatment options and prices.
  • To arrange your consultation, treatment, travel and aftercare if you decide to go ahead.
  • To keep records of our conversations so we can support you properly.

We never sell your information or use it for marketing without your permission.

Our legal basis

We use your contact details to take the steps you ask us to take before and during our service. Health information is more sensitive, so we only use it with your explicit consent, which you give when you choose to share it with us. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

Who we share it with

  • Partner clinics and hospitals in Turkey: to get a treatment plan and quote, and to arrange your treatment. We only share what they need, and only once you have asked us to. Turkey is outside the UK, so we share this information with your consent and ask our partners to keep it secure and confidential.
  • Service providers who help run our business, such as our website host (Vercel), our email delivery service (Resend) and WhatsApp if you message us there. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Anyone we are required to share it with by law.

How long we keep it

If you make an enquiry but do not go ahead, we keep your details for up to 2 years and then delete them. If you have treatment through us, we keep records for up to 6 years after your treatment to support your aftercare and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent. To do any of these, email info@medstarint.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
